Late on Friday evening there was a man in Pitea to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
According to the newspaper Piteå-man had been cut in the neck with a knife.
The police are investigating the case as attempted murder and has asked two people suspected of involvement.
During Saturday morning, police released information about a serious violent crime Pitea which occurred during Friday evening.
A man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The damage must have been incurred in connection with “an incident in an apartment in central Piteå.”
The police have launched a preliminary investigation regarding the attempted murder and two people suspected of being involved in the incident were arrested. In which way people will be involved is not clear.
No additional information can not be provided at this stage, writes the police.
According to Piteå-magazine is the man who fights for his life hospitals have been cut in the neck with a knife.
