It was after a complaint from a person in the county administrative inspectors accompanied by police came in with the man. In the house were several seriously ill cats, some could barely walk. The surfaces were full of feces and both food and water were missing. All the cats were euthanized because of illness or possible infection.
According to the vet who was present at the inspection was the cats generally dry and normal weight. The man himself said that all were healthy and fine.
The man can after this possibly get a ban on having animals.
