Tele2 may be forced to store data for law enforcement – Sveriges Radio

In spring 2014 the Court annulled the so-called Data Retention Directive and in connection with it ended Tele2 to store data that can be used for law enforcement.

But PTS forced Tele2 to resume the data store and it is now has been tried.

the Advocate General announced his opinion that the Swedish rules on data storage can be compatible with EU law if certain conditions are met – EU court will consider the case in the fall.
