Bo Rundquist, the Centre Party in Sörmland remember Thorbjorn Fälldin – Sveriges Radio

Thorbjorn Fälldin was the Centre Party’s leader for 14 years from 1971 to 1985.

In 1976, he became Sweden’s first conservative prime minister since 1936.

He died at his home in Ramvik yesterday and was 90 years old.

– It’s boring in the highest degree. He has meant a lot for the Centre Party and the Swedish policy. Many will recall his debates with Palme and his wisdom and knowledge as he always had, says Bo Rundkvist, Centre Party chairman in Sörmland.
