The Prosecutor claiming the revision of a judgment as a 16 year old man was sentenced to youth custody for rape after a gang rape that occurred at the viewpoint vanity in Stockholm in September last year. The man’s identity, however, has been inaccurate when judgment fell. The offender is in fact 20 years and has a different name than previously revealed, shows information from Interpol. The Prosecutor claiming the revision of the case to the Supreme Court and want to see a heavier penalty.
– It is unusual for the Prosecutor claiming the revision to the detriment of the offender and in particular the question of sanction will be tightened, says Ewa Nyhult, additional prosecutors and responsible for raising matters, in a press release.
