Man arrested on suspicion of murder in Kiruna – Gothenburg Post

Sweden A man has been arrested in Germany on suspicion of murdering the woman who on Tuesday was found dead in his apartment in Kiruna. Police are now working to get the man extradited to Sweden.

It was on Tuesday that a woman in their 30s were found lifeless in their homes of acquaintances who would watch her. When police officers arrived at the location, they could not rule out the crime and forensic technicians were called to the apartment. A preliminary investigation regarding killings began.

Now type Norrbotten Courier that German police have arrested a man in Germany who will be wanted by the Swedish police in connection with the suspected murder. The arrest should have taken place during the Wednesday morning, just a day after they found the woman. Police are now working to get the man extradited to Sweden.

– We have been negotiating today, it is required that it goes up in court. We need a decision from Sweden today before he can be omitted, says Lars-Ivar Johansson, reconnaissance leaders at police in the Nord region, told the newspaper.

According to Swedish Television News Norrbotten is man born -88 and should have been arrested in Frankfurt. The police do not want to go in closer to how it happened that they found him so quickly.

The police investigation continues simultaneously. Hearing of witnesses and technical studies are completed.
