A 50-year-old man who tried to write text messages while he walked in Västerås was being endangered you. In the vicinity of the bridge at Målaregatan fell the man performing the quay and into Lake Mälaren.
– It is crazy when you can not do two things at once, but it went well, says Ann-Charlotte Israelsson on police in Västmanland.
Many anxious people who heard the man’s cries for help alerted the police and emergency services at three o’clock on Sunday morning.
– It could have gone really bad.
The man was carried out with ambulance to the emergency room with unknown injuries.
