A couple in their 70s were taken to hospital with minor injuries after their villa outside Arjang burnt to the ground. County road 614 past the house shut down after reports that there are acetylene in the house. (TT)

A couple in their 70s were taken to hospital with minor burns and smoke inhalation after their house in Östervallskog outside Arjang burnt to the ground on Saturday.
County Road 614 past the house has been turned off and the police have set up a safety zone of 300 meters around the property after reports that it there’s a tube acetylene gas in the house.
The fire started during welding in the garage and then spread to the villa.
