The 6000 energy company Eon electricity customers in Svedala and surrounding towns who woke up to the power loss last Saturday has since had their power back.
The reason for the outage was an electrical discharge in a switchyard near Svedala. When the technician came to the place so they could get off a portion of the switchgear that was not so corrupt and that is the reason that the power could come back sooner than first feared.
– The engineers succeeded in doing the impossible can say, but we still have a very unstable operating situation, says Torbjörn Larsson, communicator at Eon.
On Sunday is a mobile substation on the way down to Svedala from Norrköping and once it is installed, so the situation is more stable.
