On Friday indicted three people in Vaxjo – a 28 year old, a 63-year-old and his 23-year-old son – for kidnapping. The minimum penalty for kidnapping is four years in prison.
The background is a theft by including a quad bike and a lawn tractor at a break in the 28-year-old’s garage.
The allegations made against seven persons living on a farm in the district. All were arrested, but six of them were released after questioning for lack of evidence. The seventh was arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen goods.
In the evening the same day showed 28-year-old and the other two up in the yard to take matters into their own hands, with the result that the 23-year-old victim was beaten and abducted.
The three defendants deny the crime.
