Train bomb threat when driving – Aftonbladet

A train must have been bomb threat when driving – the two people who were on board.

Now the train has been evacuated and people are arrested.

– It feels a bit uncomfortable, says passenger Sofie, 21.

The incident occurred early on Sunday afternoon aboard an X2000 train on the way from Stockholm to Gothenburg.

– There were two people in the ticket control said they had a bomb that would explode. The men are now off the train. They are arrested and reasonably suspected. No one is hurt, says Eric Marcusson, officers at the command center in Örebro.

Two arrested

The train stopped after the threat of Laxa and evacuated.

– Safety first and we judged that to call the police, says Elina Yli-Torvi, on SJ’s press office.

The passengers were told that they would leave their luggage and get out. As they stood on the platform, the police came.

– They came with blue light for a while after we got off and sat here. We saw when they arrested two men, says passenger Sofie, 21.

“A little shocked,”

The train will be scanned by bomb dogs.

– It is clear that it feels a bit uncomfortable, and no one expects to happen. It will be a bit shocked, says Sofie.

No train is allowed for the opportunity to stay in Laxa.

– We order up buses to take passengers further, says Elina Yli-Torvi.

She also announced that as soon as the bomb threat train gets green light so it will run with passengers’ belongings to Gothenburg. There, they will then be able to be retrieved out of the train station on the lost and found.
