22-year-old was bound with cable ties and forced with Ullared to steal computers and tablets. Now sentenced four people to prison.
When 22-year-old was taken off guard at Net-on-net Ullared he had tried to steal two computers and two tablets in a prepared bag. He told me that he had to steal and that he had been medtvingad in a car, got cable ties on the wrists as handcuffs and then threatened with death if he did not steal things.
Two 28-year-old men have now been convicted of Varberg District Court of abduction. Two women, 24 and 25 years and girlfriends of the two men, convicted of complicity in kidnapping.
22-year-old has told the hearing how he owed one man one thousand crowns. The man now wanted to have money and because he forced him into a car and took his keys and identification from him. The man’s friend was with in the car and waited for the two women. During the trip to Ullared, when 22-year-old was tied with cable ties, he was told that he would be buried in the woods if he contacted the police and that there were people who would “pick” him in that case.
Before they went into the Net-on-net, one of the men have tried to SMS loans at 22-year-old phone, which failed.
All four have denied that they had kidnapped the man and gave a little different information about what happened in the store. 28-year-old who lent money has said in interviews that it was 22-year-old self who came up with the idea.
22-year-old’s story is supported by a witness. A woman saw the two 28 year olds grabbed the man and pulled him to press him into a car. She then called the police.
Varberg District Court sees 22-year-old’s story more credible, both to witness supports the abduction, but also to the four suspects have given vague explanations for the allegations and also sometimes given implausible figures some of which are contrary to the stories of others. In addition, residues of cable ties found on the gravel parking lot of Ullared where they stood, and in the car, and the 22-year-old phone, one can see that the application for SMS loans made. 22-year-old also had marks around his wrists.
All but one of the women has previously been convicted of various crimes. The two men convicted of kidnapping to three years’ imprisonment and three years and three months. The women convicted of aiding kidnapping to prison for two years and eight months.
