Persson may become foreign minister – Swedish Dagbladet

First, do Wallström comeback Stefan Löfvens formation for a possible change of government. And now says data to echo that former Prime Minister Göran Persson would be Löfvens first candidate for a possible foreign minister post.
When Swedish Dagbladet looking Stefan Löfvens press secretary Anne Ekberg early on Saturday morning, she did not deny the information, instead she asks, via SMS, to come back in the morning.
Some might raise eyebrows. Persson was often accused of being uninterested in international politics. But over the years, he received a growing habit and it is usually called statsmässighet. And his 10 years as Prime Minister and broad international network, albeit thinning, is hard to beat. However, failed to materialize apparently offers of international top job after the Social Democrats’ electoral defeat in 2006, when he resigned as party chairman the following year. Instead, he became an advisor to the communications JKL and chairman of the state Sveaskog, but perhaps above all a farmer at his farm near the lake Upper Torp Båven in Södermanland.
Even Margot Wallström is a hot candidate for the post of Foreign Minister. She was between 2004 and 2010, the European Commission’s first vice president, immediately under President José Manuel Barroso. And between 2010 and 2012, she was the UN Secretary General’s Special Representative on Sexual Violence in Conflict.

SvD also searched Persson during the morning.
