Transport Agency has announced that they intend to open the path between Munkedal and Stromstad again for traffic in both directions during the afternoon. Train services between Munkedal and Uddevalla, however, remains set. The train that runs may suffer delays because they have to wait for replacement buses for the routes where traffic is set.

Parts of E6 is off, in the northbound direction, in a slump near Hogstorp stands roadway completely under water. South is a little water left in the left lane, but traffic bypasses the water accumulation in the shoulder. A sediment pond on the other side of the road is too crowded.

– The runoff from the pond is very slow to prevent, for example, oil leakage goes into the water system. But now that it is so full does not help the wells in the roadway, so the water just goes back says Timo Ronni, project manager for the maintenance of Transport Administration.
