Almost every other Swedish think Fredrik Reinfeldt’s government is doing its job well. It shows a Sifo opinion poll done for The Echo. With less than a month before the election, the red-green opposition parties an enormous lead in opinion.

Meanwhile, enjoy 48 percent of the Swedes to the Alliance Government is doing its job fairly good or very good, according to a poll by Sifo has done on behalf of the echo. Voters, even in this measurement, the most satisfied with the way the government manages the economy and finances. 21 percent believe that the government is doing a fairly or very poor job.

– Of course it is a strength of the government. This is done while we have measured that the Red-Green has a ten percent advantage. This is of course an assessment how it has been until now. Choice also means looking ahead, and then it might be a difference, says Toivo Sjörén, opinion director at Sifo.

Sifo survey also shows that 45 percent of voters do not believe to a Social Democratic-led government would manage better than Fredrik Reinfeldt and his Alliance government. It is surprising, in view of the Red-Green advantage in public opinion, think Toivo Sjörén.

– There is of course some dynamite in it. What is interesting is what the Red-Green voters think about the government and where we see that there are quite a few who think that the government is running the country well. There is obviously a difference, and the potential for continuing the campaign.

Social Democrat party secretary Carin Jämtin tones down the result in Sifors measurement.

– We’re out talking on streets and squares, but also when looking at the measurements, so the voters have great confidence in us in terms of issues that are important: welfare, education and jobs. Stefan Löfven is a competent and capable leader who will lead an S-led government with great skills, she says.

Education Jan Björklund, who is also Deputy Prime Minister, of course welcome to almost every other voters think the government is doing its job well. He points out that the parliamentary election is still pending.

– There are two million people who have not yet decided how they will cast their votes, it is a third of the electorate. I believe the alliance’s ability to win the election as well. It is clear that it is an uphill battle, we can see that the other leads, but it’s still a good chance to turn this around and win. To a very large group of Swedish people are happy with the government’s work, it is clear that there is a good basis for government.
