Sweden Democrat Tommy Granefelt from Lenhovda sitting as a member of the children’s and education in Uppvidinge wrote on Facebook this week that he bought an automatic weapon in case he would be attacked by a “nigger.”
He tells Smålandsposten that it was a joke and that he wrote it after drinking alcohol.
He does not regret that he wrote it, but have now removed the post.
For the Daily News, he says that he has left as a politician. But he is still standing as a member of Uppvidinge council website.
– I’m not an elected anymore, but I’ve probably forgotten to notify it in writing. When he finished the assignment is not clear. P4 Kronoberg have tried to reach Tommy Granefelt, but have not got hold of him.
