Hemtjänst served the 87-year-old vinegar instead of water – Swedish Radio

A 87-year-old woman in Gothenburg got severe burns after home service serving her vinegar.

Employees at home service would give the woman water but happened to take the wrong bottle from the refrigerator. When it later turned out that the 87-year-old woman has consumed 24 percent vinegar recommended home help her to drink water and wait for it to go over, writes Göteborgs-Posten.

Later in the evening phoned the woman care inquiries and then had to go into hospital, where it was found that she had received burns to the esophagus and cardia.

After the incident must now all employees of home care services have the number to the medical information embedded in their mobile phones.
