– Do not despair. Fungal genes remain there under the ground, and if we only get a few days with rain comes the mushrooms that spurt up again about one to two weeks, says mushrooms adviser Christina Brunsell.

In June bang was heard in the woods and chanterelles stack up along with several typical autumn mushrooms – porcini, others ceps and proud parasol mushroom – which fooled by lower temperatures and high humidity.

It is hot and sunny in July had the most to quickly evaporate.

– There has not been enough patchy and local bursts. We need properly with rain, preferably several nights and evenings in a row – and preferably a little sun during the day – for it to be really good with mushrooms, mushroom expert says Michael Krikorev.

Normal pulls mushroom season started in late August, culminating in September and fade out with chanterelle are into October.

– Dry and hot summers usually provide properly with just porcini in the fall. Chanterelle engines love more evenly and intermittent rain. But it is difficult to predict how this mushroom autumn will be after so much heat, says Krikorev.
