Algae may be moving away – Swedish Dagbladet

Algae may be moving away – Swedish Dagbladet

– I think the mucilage is basically over in the southern Baltic, says Sture Nell Bring on the provincial government in the county.

On Sunday’s satellite image taken one day earlier obscuring clouds some parts of the Baltic Sea, but Nell Bring dare is still on a positive prognosis.

– It looks pretty out south of Öland and the Blekinge and Skåne coast. There are no blooms or production at all in the area where there are clouds.

Algae lingers in the streets north of Öland up to southern Stockholm archipelago. While eastern and southwestern Gotland have been affected.

– I think it will slow down, it’s late in the summer and should not happen more. The problem is that it’s so warm in the water so they do not know how the process will go.
