Older women drink more

Elderly Swedes drink more and more, and the greatest increase is among 75-year-old women. It shows a study by researchers at the Centre for Ageing and Health at the University of Gothenburg, writes GP.
There has compared how much beer, wine and liquor as 75-year-olds consumed in the mid-1970s , by how much the same age drinking today.One in ten 75-year-old woman today can be classified as risk consumer, compared with 0.6 percent 30 years ago.
