Sweden A number of cars have been involved in accidents on the Thursday night in the west of Sweden. One of the worse accidents occurred outside of Falkenberg, where a car caught fire after to have ended up in the ditch. The police, however, was secretive about how it went for the passenger.

“All I can say for now is that a rescue operation is underway,” says Tommy Nyman, at the police western region.

It was at 21 the time that the police was alerted to the accident at the old E6 outside Falkenberg. The car was then in the full fire but was later extinguished by emergency services. But at that point the car was completely impossible to identify.

Multiple accidents in a short time

During the afternoon and evening, several accidents have occurred by reason of the slippery conditions. At 19 the time drove a woman straight into a garden on the island of Orust.

Only a quarter of an hour later, so voltade a car of the road on the E45 at Lärjemotet where the car ended up on its roof.

- A woman has been hospitalized, says Nyman.
