How does it feel to take over the mission after the Gunilla Kindstrand?
– It feels good, in the way that it is safe to have worked closely with Kindstrand for a few years now. I know that we built up together in the common kulturredaktionen works and is good, not least for the local kulturjournalistiken.
Mittmedia has grown during the year, the day included 28 newspapers and 19 news sites. What is your task?
– My task will be to plan, coordinate and develop kulturjournalistiken. We are many and spread over a large area, but it is possible to coordinate and make good things together thanks to that we have strong local editors who can and have an understanding of their specific regions.
How would you like to develop newspapers and the local kulturjournalistiken?
– Primarily by providing conditions for continued good local kulturjournalistik. This is where we have our foundation. But also common bets, as an example the ongoing series of urban design where we mix common materials with local angles. I believe that culture and opinion has an extremely important role in today’s society where there is a huge demand for the sentiment – we can offer studies and analysis, a venue for conversation and debate in the various channels.
You must clear the assignment on a half-time and at the same time, keep your mission as a cultural editor at Dalarnas Tidningar – how is it going?
may I answer in a few months. But I will get administrative relief, and the editorial in the Valleys is enhanced.
