1. Name
It was already in the order from Geely that the new brand would be something completely different. And despite the fact that there were those who were internally lobbied hard for that Geely would buy up the Saab brand, so it was Lynk&co. with the number 01. Lynk, of course, have to do with the link between the east and the west and maybe the figure from the formula 1, where it is common with the rising numbers on each car model.
2. The emblem
When a period of time when everyone is shouting for more and clearer profile and in which inter alia the sibling Volvo figuring on how best to use ab volvo was in the grill so goes Geely in completely the other direction by creating a very anonymous emblem in the front. 3. Black

7. No diesel
Many manufacturers talk about to scrap the diesel engine completely and it is no surprise, therefore, that when Geely is now building brand new as it gets without diesel. Hybrids and plug-in hybrids – with a range of clean electricity of about five mil – in combination with gasoline to be sold in Europe to meet upcoming CO2-limits and new methods. It is only when we see a concrete development of synthetic diesel, we can expect that the car manufacturers are betting on the diesel engine again. This is a clear step away from diesel
8. Handling
Volvo built in very good driving characteristics in their new 90-series and the talk internally that it will get even better in the new 40-series. The same technology sitting in the Lynk&co. 01 and we will be queuing up to test drive the first car on the CMA platform – if it now becomes Lynk&co. 01 or new Volvo XC40.
