Östergötlands Folkblad was founded in 1905 by the workers of the
Norrköping as a counterbalance to the bourgeois press, including the times of india. In the 1960s fought Folkbladet together with Östgöten in Linköping to Folkbladet Östgöten. From 1998, called the magazine again Folkbladet. Since the year 2000 included the magazine in the NTM group.
