Two injured in gunfire in Helsingborg – Aftonbladet

The shootings occurred on Furutorpsgatan in Helsingborg.

When the police arrived at the scene found two men with bullet wounds. A 26-year-old man received serious injuries.

– He is described as seriously injured, says Calle Persson, information officer at the police in the southern region.

the alarm about the shooting came in to police at 20:13 on Friday.

Several people had alerted 112 after hearing loud bangs from Furutorpsgatan in Helsingborg.

Two shot injured men

When the police arrived at the scene found two wounded men, a 26-year and 23 years old. It turned out that 26-year-old injured by three bullets, according to Helsingborgs Dagblad.

Initially police said that both taken to hospital but the 23-year-old could be treated for their injuries on the spot by medical personnel while 26-year-old was driven to hospital in an ambulance.

the 26-year-old is not as life-threatening injured, according to region Skåne’s press service. Police suspect that the persons damaged know who the shooter is, and the people involved are well known by the police in the past.



being investigated as attempted murder

The place has been cordoned off for a forensic examination and witnesses are questioned.

– It’s a pretty big roadblock, says Calle Persson.

Police forensic scientists and a gun dog is in place to investigate the incident. Police classified as attempted murder, alternatively murder.
