Truck Accident affected rail traffic – Västerbotten Courier

There were major delays in train traffic in the Stockholm area after a truck accident. The truck crashed into a railway bridge in Sollentuna, north of Stockholm, at 16 o’clock. Train traffic was stopped until the bridge was examined.

– From 18 o’clock the trains have been able to start running again, but there will be delays, says Katarina Wolffram at the Swedish Transport Administration’s press service

According to Trafikverket suffered including long-distance trains between Stockholm and Uppsala / Gävle / Falun. Even the Arlanda Express and commuter traffic between Märsta / Uppsala and Södertälje affected.

No one was injured when the truck crashed into the bridge.
