Frölunda day after – Sveriges Radio

Vivian sets out the furniture for the patio. She works in a restaurant to Frölunda. From the terrace, she sees to the parking lot where the man the night before was shot to death.

– It’s very terrible, you can not feel safe anymore. Should you work alone as one thinks of what can happen to me. It’s not a good feeling, she says.

Have you felt insecure to Frölunda before?

– Not before, but I do not know how I will know me from now on. It’s horrible. People shoot each other, and someone dies right here next. It’s crazy, I think, says Vivian.

Out on the square in the sun, just a few meters from the parking lot where the car was parked, sitting Ola Osterberg. Despite the shooting so he feels safe in the square.

– There are so few cases. I feel very safe, he said.

At the bus stop, not far from there, sitting Britt Marie Andersson. When she heard about the incident on the radio news in the morning, she was too shaky.

– I think it’s so awful so it is not wise. Otherwise, it’s so good here in Frölunda but it happens too much, I think, it has gone too far, she says.

– I’m glad I’m as old as I am so I do not see the development of this just gets worse and worse. We pensioners we’re terrified, we trust the no man. Then I think of the children and grandchildren, it’s terrible, it’s them to worry, says Britt Marie Andersson.
