The death toll in the outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus in West Africa, has risen to 932 after 45 people died from 2-4 August, according to the World Health Organization, according to Reuters. During the same period, the organization says that the number of suspected, probable and confirmed cases have increased by 108 to a total of 1711 cases, writes the organization in a statement.
Most of the new cases were reported from Liberia.Earlier on Wednesday reported Nigerian authorities about another five confirmed cases of Ebola in the country, making a total of seven cases now confirmed. A second person has died in the aftermath of the deadly virus, in addition to the first infected who brought the virus to Lagos, Nigeria, Liberia on July 20, reports AFP.
