Stricter requirements on the new arrivals – Västerbottens-kuriren (the Courier)

the Government proposes more stringent requirements on newly arrived immigrants. The who says no to an education provided by the public employment service will under the proposal be able to be punished financially. The person would then lose all or part of their etableringsersättning, which today is a maximum of 308 sek per day, reports the Echo.

It would mean that the same requirements are imposed on newcomers and other unemployed people.

The new rules would apply from 1 January 2018.

the Proposal, which now goes out for consultation, is a part of the migrationsöverenskommelse reached between the government and the ruling coalition parties had agreed.
