This applies, for example, trafficking young people, children and teenagers selling sex, but also different types of cyber crime. So-called sexual blackmail mentioned in particular. It is when a perpetrator persuades a child to share naked images, which are then used utpressningssyfte.

– This also applies to really understand the power that the net has when it comes to being able to commit these crimes and to also manipulate the children and hurt them in different ways. It is a big task to try to work with it, ” says barnminister Åsa Regnér.

to the police clubbed yesterday, and is a part of the government’s action plan to protect children against exploitation and sexual abuse.

“We want to, of course, that the whole of the Police should be on their toes when it comes to sexual crimes against children,” says Anders Ygeman.

– We send the money to finance this task. It is not a new task to work against sexual crimes against children. However, the police have to become better at it and need to develop their working methods. Then you can with the same numbers reach much better effects, ” says Anders Ygeman.
