Easter Travelers got a quiet Monday – Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet

According to the Transport Administration floated train traffic without major obstacle to the conclusion that several small fires occurred between Katrineholm and Flen early Monday evening.

– There are a number of fires along the route, and no bus replacement said the Swedish Transport Administration’s press officer Beisi Sundin just before the trains started rolling again 18:25.

The trains had then stood still for an hour on routes between Stockholm and cities Gothenburg, Malmö, Linköping and Karlstad.

Several vehicles were involved in an accident on route 69 between Falun and Hedmora in a generally quiet day for motorists.

– There are many who are out on the roads and thereby creating easy queues, says Sundin.

On the E4 thickened traffic in the afternoon at the height of Södertälje in the direction of Stockholm. Elsewhere hit holiday drivers most of the mild queues.

– The stretch Hudiksvall-Gävle required about 50-60 minutes longer than usual. But people behave, wrote Twitter user Lena J Olsson told SvD after being stuck on the E4 north of Gävle.
