The Swedish rules to violently fight an alien submarine is unclear and needs to be changed, consider international law expert Ove Bring, reports the Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet.

Armed Forces mean that the right to farming Violence is limited by the European Convention on Human Rights.

But Bring believe that this is not true and that even actions that can give death is legitimate under international law. He believes that uncertainty can lead to misunderstandings and not fully legitimate efforts made in extreme situations.

Asked whether the rules should be amended answer Bring:

– Yes, I think so. This is different regulatory systems operating in parallel with each other and the European Convention were never meant to infringe on military security and the special rules for incident preparedness that takes over the normal rules of human rights in peace.
