On Wednesday evening, there was a shooting in Kroksbäck in Malmö.
A man in his 20s was hit by several shots. His injuries are reported to be life-threatening.
– He is sedated right now, says Hans Nilsson, county duty officer at the Malmö police.
At 22:30 o’clock, police received calls from several witnesses who sounded the alarm about a shooting took place in the district Kroksbäck in Malmö.
The shooting must have taken place on Sörbäcksgatan. According to police, a person has been transferred to Malmo University Hospital in a private car. The hospital’s press office says that the man, who is known by the police from before, have life-threatening injuries. His condition is assessed as serious but stable.
– He has met with several shots and is sedated in the hospital right now, says Hans Nilsson.
Large police presence
A large police were called to the scene to search for the perpetrator. Police cordoned off the area of technical inspection and held several witnesses. At 01 days there was no alleged perpetrator.
– We’ll see what examining the witnesses giving, says Hans Nilsson.
Several cars were stopped in the area, without giving any result.
– It gave us no leads in this case, says Hans Nilsson.
The event is classified at present as attempted murder, alternatively manslaughter.
