Cold, snow and rain have been Easter weather in many parts of the country. The typical April weather continues this weekend with cumulus and even villages of rain or snow.
The warm March weather made us spoiled with sunshine and unusually high temperatures, says Alexandra Ohlsson, meteorologist at SMHI .
– The sun has certainly proved in some places. But if you look at the heat so it has not been much of it. Cold northerly winds with frigid air has dominated. The best chances of sun on Sunday is in the south west.
When will the heat back?
– It looks like it may be a little gentler on Monday. Over the next week, it’s the chance of warmer weather in the south of the country, with close to 15 degrees. So there is hope of spring warmth next week, says Alexandra Ohlsson.
She also says to weather and temperature is normal for the season and the warmth in March means that in April the weather felt colder than what it really is.
In the middle of the week continues the high pressure dominated weather in the south and warmer air flows up there probably more than 10-15 degrees during the day and the cold nights are over. Over northern Sweden is expected to fresh westerly winds and some areas with snow or rain moves east in the wind.
