Care Employees lacks ID – Västerbotten Courier

34 people – including doctors, nurses and physiotherapists – have worked in Region Skåne without professional certification and thus lacked jurisdiction, reports Kristianstadsbladet.

Inspectorate for health care services (IVO) discovered the lack of a check from 2013 to 2014 and criticizes the fact that the region is not ensured that staff with the right skills employed.

Within sjukvårdsförvaltningen Kryh (Kristianstad, Ystad and Hässleholm), 18 people worked without a license. Including four doctors who lacked specific mandate and a physiotherapist who was hired in 2007 but received identification of the National Board until 2014.

– It may be that people have forgotten to submit it and then not been reminded. This is not about people who do not have the skills for what they do, say administration’s HR manager Bruno Ore Lind told the newspaper.
