Alcolocks was legal blow – Västerbotten Courier

A woman in Linköping observed how a man repeatedly blew the alcohol lock on his car. After half an hour without the car started, she sensed something was amiss and alerted the police.

A patrol pulled out to take action against the suspected drunk driver.

– It was uprightly done. But the patrol could quite quickly write off any suspicions, says Fredrik Kliman, spokesman for police in Östergötland.

The suspect was playing a wind instrument of the picture and was both sober and had a driving license. Without remark, in other words. Why he played in the car is unclear.

– I would guess that he is interested in music and wanted to play a jingle. It is perfectly legal to play wind instruments in his car, but it was good that he parked the first, says Fredrik Kliman, which, however, would like to know which instrument man played.
