Children in kindergarten and pupils in the school should be better prepared for life in the digitised society, proposes to the national agency for Education. It can, for example, digital technology for home appliances, traffic lights and cameras.
"We know that many kindergartens today are working with to let the children meet the digital tools as a part of the pre-school’s activities. With our proposal we want all kindergartens should work with these issues. It is important for the establishment of equivalence", says Christian Magnusson, counsellor of education at Swedish national agency for Education, in a statement on the agency’s site.
It is up to the government to decide on the agency’s proposal for changes in the pre-school curriculum.
