A fire hit a service in Torsåker outside Sandviken night to Monday. Two people have been rescued by the emergency services.

An automatic alarm call went in at half a time at night and the staff quickly discovered that the alarm was sharp with smoke from an apartment where a person was, writes Pär Törnhult, internal command in Gävle, sweden, in a press releases.

Emergency services could save a person in the apartment and also the one that was in an adjacent apartment. Both are taken to hospital.

the Fire is extinguished and the emergency services continue to work to get out the smoke.

“the Situation on the site seems to be quiet but work is ongoing towards the smoke and also an exploratory work to ensure that more are not affected by the fire and the smoke,” writes Törnhult.
