Man stabbed in the back during robbery – Aftonbladet

A man was stabbed in the back during an armed robbery of a store in Malmö around midnight on Thursday.

The man should be seriously hurt but the situation is stable.

The perpetrators, the police are now looking for, suspected of aggravated robbery and attempted murder.

Around midnight on Thursday went two people armed with a knife into a call shop on Nygatan in Malmö. There, they have threatened a male employee in his 60s and then stabbed him in the back.

– It is unclear exactly how it happened. The man is taken to hospital, says Emily Yarn Heim, press officer for the police in Skåne.

The man was conscious when the ambulance arrived at the scene and the duty officer Peter Martin said Thursday morning that his situation is serious but stable.

Attempted murder

The two perpetrators left the scene and the police were looking for them in the area during the night. They are suspected of aggravated robbery and attempted murder.

– The fact that they have gone in with a knife and stabbed with the offense so serious, says Emily Yarn Heim.

She has no exact information on what happened the change was.

During the day today, the police must conduct a thorough technical investigation at the scene, said Peter Martin.

– The shop is closed off and there are witness statements to be processed and analyzed, he said.
