Former SD peak criticize the party leadership – Göteborgs-Posten

SDU President and Vice President are excluded by all accounts from the mother party. Now directs Patrik Ehn, once the party’s strongman in Gothenburg, sharply criticized the party leadership.

– Mattias Karlsson smashes his own youth, he says.

There is then a few days clear that both the SDU President Gustav Kasselstrand and Vice Chairman William Hahne risk being expelled from the mother party, along with another 20 members, because of alleged collaboration with right-wing forces.

Patrick Ehn, who was a group leader in the Västra Götaland region and Councillor in Gothenburg before he was expelled because of “ideological deviation” 2013, react strongly to what is happening.

– It is deplorable. It’s so autocratically so it lacks really unprecedented in the Swedish political post-war history, he said.

Ehn, who after exclusion served as editor of the now defunct right-wing magazine National today, believes that the exclusion cases against Kassel Beach and Hahne unfounded and that in reality it is a question of removing potential threats related positions in the mother party.

– Onshore days in November so do not think I To Akesson will be a candidate again. Then there will be new party leader and they are terrified of Kassel Beach will be a candidate against Karlsson and that he can take home the game, he said.

Ehn also question the party’s zero tolerance.

– In some cases it has been useful against people who expressed themselves very remarkable, but Gustav and William’s not covered by it in any way. Zero tolerance has become a power tool that is not about zero tolerance but used very selectively. It’s actually scary, he said.

Based on their own experiences as Ehn talking about a kind of helplessness.

– No matter what support you have and no matter how hard you have worked for the party it has like no meaning. Man is helpless when directing these kinds massuteslutningar.

In the long term, he believes that the rift between youth and parent party could mean that the SDU breaking away from the SD altogether. Both Hahnemann who Kassel Beach have declared that they intend to continue their mission in the SDU, like other youth, are independent.

– There will be well an organization alongside the Sweden Democrats. Karlsson smashes his own youth, and he does not care, said Ehn.

Henry Wing’s press officer for SD and admits that there is a rift between the SDU and the mother party.

– The partnership has not been good, it’s no secret. And it will not get any better now, he says.

Is there a risk that the SDU settles free and become a private party in the long term?

– It remains to be seen. It seems pointless to speculate on that.

Wing refutes allegations of abuse of power and the elimination of possible threats to important positions.

– It would be strange if no member committee was investigating very strong evidence of the are questions regarding ideological motives, associates with right-wing organizations and partnering to change the party’s ideological orientation. When people vote on the SD must know what they are getting, it can not be that there will be a package with lots of other things we do not want to stand for, he said.

Criticism from Patrik Ehn, he takes lightly on.

– After exclusion as it turned out after all that he (Ehn) pretty quickly got involved in what is usually called the identitarian movement, which advocates racial segregation and such things. He became a frequent writer on various pages and lacks credibility because today is no questioning the exclusion. It did very clear that we were right there, says Wing.
