Reports have come to schools weed out students with special needs. Now the Government proposes that municipal and independent schools will receive shared queue.
Anders Tell is a Social Democrat and chairman of the children -and Education in Kristianstad Municipality. According to him, a common queuing system a welcome proposal.
– It promotes the possibility of equals between independent and municipal schools. You get the family a better overview of the options available, says Anders.
Fredrik Axelsson is moderate and was chairman of the children -and Education Committee last term in office. He welcomed the idea of a common queuing system. In contrast, he does not believe it will solve the problem of pupils being given notice.
– It’s a good philosophy that all students should be able to queue to the same schools and be received. The problem is that you can still be weeded out. In contrast, students and parents to notify individual cases so that the school inspectorate get a good basis to combat the problem, says Fredrik.
Anders Tell’m not aware if there are similar problems in Kristianstad Municipality’s schools, but says that the important is the spirit of the legislation.
– I have no evidence of it happening like this in Kristianstad Municipality, I’m glad.
But the main proposal is that the families could feel safe in that all schools should have equal rights and obligations to receive students.
