Labour Minister Ylva Johansson (S) and Erik Åsbrink have separated, according aftonbladet.se.
– That’s right. They have chosen to separate. I have no further comments, says Johansson’s press secretary Natali Sial told the newspaper.
1998 announced Johansson and Åsbrink they were a couple through a fax machine, where they declared that “we are in love.” They were then both of Göran Persson government, she as education minister and he as finance minister, a post he had to leave. They later married and have a son together.
“Ylva is the love of my life. But now we have decided to separate. We remain very good friends, “reports Erik Åsbrink through Facebook.
Ylva Johansson and Erik Åsbrink married in August 2002. Now they go their separate ways.
