Aggressive infection on construction

Several construction workers on Gärstad works in Linköping have become seriously ill with pneumonia. Now urged their colleagues to stay at home at the slightest sign of illness, local media reported.
They will not even go to work at the slightest symptoms. Get the smallest sore throat, they seek health care, says infectious disease physician Britt Åkerlind to Corren.
Five people have been diagnosed with an aggressive pneumonia, two of them have severe symptoms and get intensive care.
Many of those who fell ill are foreign workers. Linköping University Hospital have sent samples to the Public Health Agency to find out where the infection came from. The same infection should also have affected people in Georgia and it is investigated whether there is any connection.
