Commuters protest blocked riksdagsbro – Västerbotten Courier

Skåne activists blocked in the night by the National Bridge between Queen Street and Parliament House in Stockholm, with 400 meters plastic tape in protest against identity cards and passport controls on the Oresund Bridge, writes Expressen.

Behind the protest was the group Sound Revolution created by angry commuters in connection with the government unveiled plans to iD-checking all passing Öresund Bridge. The travel time for commuters have become longer and, according to the group, it has even led people to resign from their jobs.

– We want them to get the same feeling we get when the barriers of our bridge without question, says Niels Paarup-Petersen, C-politician and activist told the newspaper.

Right after the bands have been set-picked parliamentary monitors them down, police said Expressen.
