Sick leave record low in Sweden – Västerbotten Courier

Sick leave in Sweden is at a record in terms of number of sick and is in line with the rest of Europe.

In 2013, received nine out of ten Swedes are not any sickness benefit at all, writes John Selander, professor of rehabilitation science at Mid Sweden University, DN debate.

Some reasons behind the low absenteeism is high unemployment, the earned income tax benefits those who are working and that the so-called rehabilitation chain yielded results.
