It is a result of the water shortage in the municipality and to the responsible of the municipality took a decision to not flush the rinks with drinking water in the year.
– We are investigating options to flush the rinks with drinking water, it says Hanna Dufva, who is the director of technical management at the municipality of Örebro.
“We also call on other players to not use drinking water to flush the courses now in the winter,” she says.
The options for ice skating are Behrn Arena, Trängens IP and when the weather permits also Rynningeviken.
