It can be both expensive and difficult to find a parking space in central Stockholm. But employees of foreign embassies have it a little easier.

With a diplomat, it is both the felparkera, and ignoring the fines. So far this year the embassy cars received parking tickets for nearly a million kronor, according to Dagens Industri.

How many of the fine is unpaid is not clear but the three countries have earned most fines have not been paid any at all , according to the

newspaper.

Turkey tops the list with 180 000 in fines. Subsequently, Azerbaijan 117 000 Russia 110 000.

Unpaid fines are sent to the Swedish Enforcement Authority, but diplomats are protected from attachment. Instead, send the material over to the State Department.
