Stockholm. There may be a link between blood type and problems with memory ability in later life. It says American scientist after following 30,000 people over three years.
It turns out that people with blood group AB seems to have easier to suffer from memory problems than others.
In the United States about four percent this blood type. But among the 495 people who developed memory problems compared with a healthy control group, the corresponding share was six percent, the researchers write in Neurology.
Scientists have previously seen a connection between blood type and the risk of cardiovascular disease, so they believe that the protective effect of certain blood groups, as 0, means, also affects the brain.
