The rescue services were at half four-time to snatch out to a haulier in Smedby after an alarm if a clamped person. They found a man who was pinned between a truck and the truck bed. Emergency services got him loose, he was transferred to Vrinnevisjukhuset – but his life could not be saved.
– There was something wrong with the hydraulics on the platform that he would cook and so he ended up under the bed, says Håkan Jonsson, internal officers of Rescue Eastern Götaland.
Exactly how the accident gone to is currently unclear, police technicians worked yesterday on the scene to try to determine the cause of the accident. The place is sealed off.
– The deceased’s relatives have been informed of the death, they offered crisis support of the health care system, says Torbjörn Lindqvist, duty officer at the police in Östergötland.
