Woman dead in violent accident – Aftonbladet

A woman in the 25-year-old died early Sunday morning after a violent single vehicle accident on Hisingen in Gothenburg.

The car must have run into a stople and then caught fire.

The incident occurred at 04:27 on Sunday morning. The driver, a man in his 20s, to have lost control of the vehicle and drove into a pole at Hjalmar Brantingsgatan Hisingen. The car should then have started to burn.

Several witnesses witnessed the incident and managed to pull the man, who was taken to Sahlgrenska with serious injuries. He was later transferred to the burn clinic at Linköping University

Hospital by air ambulance.

– They have saved his life, says Peter Adlersson, spokesman for the police in West Bengal.

The woman died at the scene. She will, however, died before the car caught fire.

Police have seized the car and has issued a notification of careless driving.
